The MCP-4 is a low-cost, full-featured adhesive system pattern control. It offers 4-channel outputs, each capable of multiple glue patterns, 4 product sensor inputs and optional integral flow control. Program changes and adjustments can be made “on-the-fly" with results immediately on the product.
Features include “plug-and-run” connectors and compact design for fast and easy installation. It is available with or without EPC flow control and vertical or horizontal mounting styles.
The MCP-4 can be used with an extensive selection of Valco’s cold-glue or hot melt adhesive dispensing valves including high-speed non-contact, spot gluing, fine-line gluing, and ribbon-pattern gluing. Suited to a range of applications from simple packaging requirements to complex folding carton production, envelope manufacturing, paper-folders, book and magazine production, bag-making, corrugated box-making and other high-speed converting requirements.

The MCP-8 can be used with an extensive selection of Valco Melton’s cold-glue or hot melt adhesive dispensing valves including high-speed non-contact, spot gluing, fine-line gluing, and ribbon-pattern gluing. Multi-pattern, multi valve capabilities make it ideally suited to requirements such as specialty folder-gluers and complex folding carton production.
The OT-120 touch-screen and VCX control system is designated as CartonPRO for gluing and quality assurance.
The OT-120 is a simple touch-screen interface that provides operators an easy-to-understand means of setup and control of all gluing and inspection system functions. The OT-120 can interface with 2 VCX control units.
The VCX control unit houses the main electronics including valve drivers, inspection, marking and ejection capabilities.
Control modules are selected according to desired system functions (up to 4 modules per VCX):

The VCX unit can include as many as 4 of the control modules listed above. If desired system functions do not require 4 of the control modules, a blanking plate must be ordered to fill the open spot. If the system requires more than 4 of the control modules, a second VCX unit is required. Systems that require a second VCX will also require one of the secondary system stands.
The OT-120/VCX can also be equipped with ValcoLink™/VisiPRO™PC remote access and data collection Software. VisiPRO offers live production status for downtime tracking, defect/scrap monitoring, historical machine data and event tracking.
The MCP-6 external is a full-featured 6 channel adhesive control system available to work collectively with a full line of melt tanks. This system is also available as an external control panel for vertical mount.
The MCP-6 can operate any 24 VDC solenoid valve and each channel can handle up to two each. All cables are wired into the board using Phoenix Contact™ connectors which allows the user to attach valve and photo-eyes into the control card. Cables with flying leads are included in all kits.
